I enjoyed Masters of the Universe (as a Masters of the Universe film, anyway) but my main takeaway was that it was a movie for guys in their 50s who remembered playing with the action figures but, as a PG-13 flick, it wasn't appropriate for the kiddos who are the target audience for action figures.
If someone with an 8-year-old asked me if little Keiden would like the movie, I might say that the kiddo should wait until he's 12.
